Now that we have been getting some really cold temperatures here in Michigan, it's time to head to the frozen streams in the woods and photograph the cool artistic ice patterns. Best lens to reach out is my 18-400 on my Nikon D7500 or the 18-300 on my Fuji X-T30 MKll.
The best times to find these cool abstracts is when the ice is first forming. As the ice thickens, the patterns start to turn to solid white.
