It's been an awesome summer here in Michigan, we have not had to deal with the extreme hot weather like the south and southwest, and we have had enough rain to keep the grass as green as I have ever seen in August and saved a ton of money not having to water the lawn all summer.
Even though our summer temps have been very nice, they are still a little too warm for me to go out shooting. I always wear long pants and long sleeves to avoid ticks and mosquitos, so I get to hot, and don't enjoy the shoot.
After the three months of summer, I look forward to September and cooler temperatures. It's the start of fall, and cooler temps means I will be comfortable wearing the cloths to keep me safe from the tiny critters and not overheating.
Also looking forward to the next cycle of subjects to shoot in September, Milkweed seeds popping, Cottonwood and Large Tooth Aspen leaves starting to fall, Sumac bushes starting to turn red, and I'll cover some of these things and others, in upcoming Fall posts.
