In my last blog post I asked how many people are buying hard cover books at book stores.  As far as macro photography, there hasn't been any new hard cover books that I am aware of in recent years.  

There is one new book that is worth promoting and that is from Don Komarechka.  I've had Don as a speaker at my annual Macro Photo Conference and he is an amazing high magnification macro photographer.

Don's new book is called, Macro Photography: The Universe at Our Feet.  It has 384 pages. Step into a world of photography that most artists consider magical. The closer you get to things, the more fascinating they become. Unimaginable details can be captured with the aid of special photography techniques and equipment, detailed at length within these pages.

This is an amazing collection of high magnification subjects, along with all the info on how to accomplish this style of macro photography.  

I told Don I was impressed at the amount of time and effort it took to write this book, and I highly recommend it to any macro photography at any skill level.
